Description

In the heart of FSU lies the Westcott Administration Building. At a distance, this image appears to be merely a drawing, but upon closer inspection, you will notice the countless dots that are used to create the art work. A vibrant palette of neon hues fills expanses of dotted regions creating a dazzling nighttime effect. This work is created completely with dots and was drawn with a micron pen in a technique known as stippling. After countless hours dotting white paper the resulting image was scanned to a computer, digitized, inverted and colored. The resulting image is a merging of studio and digital art that at the click of a mouse can be scaled up or down for print or electronic duplication. This is the future of art.

Unique Features

Color is a very important part of this project, I wanted to pay hommage to the UV-Posters practically every college guy decorates his room with there first year here. By viewing this in large format one gets the effect of a nighttime viewing of Westcott and it's glowing surroundings.
