Description

Subsurface is not directly visible to human eyes, but computer modeling can help view it. This project is to develop a tool to visualize subsurface and in particular movement of groundwater particles from contamination sources to surface water bodies. This tool is to address environmental concern prevalent in Florida for protection of our precious water resources and environment.

Unique Features

This visualization is three-dimensional and the generated movie help general public better understand subsurface and environmental effects of groundwater contaminant transport on surface water quality.
