The DIGITECH website is intended to be a simple way to display exhibits for the DigiTech Showcase 2012. To accomplish this goal, it became necessary to have a means to review, edit exhibits, prepare images and categorize exhibits. It allows the organizers of Digitech to easily and quickly check on exhibits, modify them, and publish them publicly. The site also allows exhibits to be viewed privately, separating the publicly available exhibits from the unpublished ones. The design of the website was crafted by the DIGITECH Design Team, credited on the team page.
Automatic image manipulation, web publishing and content management, search, and categorization. The application review system makes use of AJAX to dynamically edit content by simply clicking on paragraphs. Processing images for display constrains proportions, automatically generating sizes for thumbnails and gallery presentation.
